Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • All authorship identification of the body of the document and the properties of the Word file were removed, ensuring the anonymity required in the blind peer review process, according to the journal's guidelines;
  • The author declares to be aware that the journal is trilingual, accepting manuscripts written in Portuguese, English or Spanish. The title, abstract, and keywords must be presented in all three languages;
  • The submitted file is in Word format and contains no references to authors, institutions, research groups, networks or research associations;
  • The author declares to be aware that this journal may charge a publication fee for the maintenance of editorial services and the electronic system, applicable only to articles approved after the evaluation process;
  • The submitted manuscript is original, results from scientific research and has not been previously published in any other journal or means of scientific dissemination.

Author Guidelines

Articles submitted to the journal will be evaluated according to the criteria defined in the Editorial Compliance program, composed of structural, textual, ethical and scientific requirements.

After preliminary verification, manuscripts will be sent to ad hoc evaluators, with a minimum PhD degree and proven experience in the thematic area of research.

During the evaluation process, particular attention will be paid to the following aspects:

  • Relevance and timeliness of the proposed theme;
  • Clarity of the object of study;
  • Logical and argumentative structure of the work;
  • General organization of the article;
  • Theoretical and methodological foundation;
  • Quality and timeliness of bibliographic references;
  • Coherence and fluidity of ideas;
  • Quality of scientific writing.

The journal performs a careful analysis of the submitted manuscripts to verify, at an early stage, compliance with all established requirements.

Submission Rules

Manuscripts must comply with the following formatting and preparation criteria:

  • The article must have a maximum of 17 pages;
  • Texts written in Portuguese, English or Spanish are accepted;
  • The maximum number of authors per article is six (6);
  • The text must be formatted in Times New Roman, size 12, with 5 line spacing;
  • Figures and tables must be inserted in the text in editable format and presented in size 10 font;
  • The titles of figures and tables should be placed above the graphic elements and the content below;
  • The title of the article must be presented in Portuguese, English and Spanish, at the beginning of the document, in font size 14;
  • Abstracts and keywords must be presented in all three languages, with single spacing, immediately below the title;
  • Citations and bibliographic references must follow the APA or ABNT standards;
  • The submitted file must not contain any identification of the authors.

The journal is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of its users, authors, reviewers, and contributors. This Privacy Policy describes how data is collected, used, stored and protected.

1. Collection of Information

Personal information voluntarily provided by users is collected, such as:

  • Name;
  • E-mail;
  • Institution;
  • Address.

This information is necessary for the submission, review and publication processes.

2. Use of Information

The information collected is used exclusively to:

  • management of submissions and reviews of articles;
  • communication between the journal, authors, reviewers, and editors;
  • sending relevant notifications and updates;
  • Improving the functioning and performance of the website.

3. Information Sharing

Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or to comply with legal obligations.

In peer review processes, the anonymity of authors and reviewers will be guaranteed.

4. Information Security

Strict security measures are adopted to protect personal data from loss, unauthorized access, improper disclosure or alteration.

The journal uses protection mechanisms, including encryption technologies, to ensure the integrity of information.

5. Data Retention

Personal data will only be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law.

6. Users' Rights

  • The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors;
  • The total or partial reproduction of the articles is allowed, as long as the source is properly cited;
  • Articles that contain plagiarism will be rejected, and the respective authors may lose the right to publish in the journal;
  • After submission, the authors assign the rights to publish the article to the journal;
  • If the author intends to withdraw the article, he/she may request the cancellation of the publication up to two months before the scheduled edition;
  • The journal uses the Creative Commons CC BY license.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
